With nearly a decade of experience as a freelance journalist in print, web, and multimedia, Kindra has worked in-depth with the small business and financial industry. For instance, she spent three years as the head of digital marketing at the Lawrence N. Field Center for Entrepreneurship at Baruch College, where she worked closely with local entrepreneurs to generate content focused on small businesses. In addition, Kindra served as a content manager for Fibrick, a financial services firm based in New York City. During her career, Kindra has also served as a freelance copywriter, helping tech companies create more “customer-focused” website copy and writes thought leadership content for lead generation. Along with writing for The Balance, she is currently a content writer for an education company called Springboard, where she writes career-focused content about AI and machine learning, UX design, software engineering and cybersecurity.
